1 U.S. Dollar – Presidents of the United States 2007–2020 – 40 Coins

Collectors value dollar coins depicting U.S. Presidents, which are issued in limited editions with a face value of one dollar. The obverse of each coin features a portrait of the President of the United States. The reverse depicts a stylized figure of the Statue of Liberty, surrounded by the inscription “United States of America.”

The program began on January 1, 2007. Each year, one coin was issued every three months as part of the program. The obverse of each coin features a portrait of one of the Presidents of the United States, shown in chronological order according to their term of office. The United States Mint named this initiative the “Presidential $1 Coin Program.”

2009: William Henry Harrison, John Tyler, James K. Polk, Zachary Taylor.
